Why you can trust me
I am equally skilled in both design and organisation.
I trained at Chelsea College of Art in Interior Design and have 17 years experience as a freelance Interior Designer running multiple and varied projects both domestic and commercial. I have extensive experience of space planning and designing and also decluttering clients possessions. I see my role as being collaborative and I have developed skills to help clients articulate and assess the relationship they have with their homes whilst encouraging them to find their own style confidence. I always work collaboratively and this is particularly essential when decluttering.
I have worked part time for the Royal Institute of British Architects for 17 years alongside my freelance Interiors work, with responsibility for coordinating the logistics of the RIBA UK and International Validation programme. I am able to implement office systems and find better ways of working. I also have have excellent time and project management skills.
I initially trained at the London College of Fashion in fashion design and I have a small lifestyle fashion brand which I run alongside my interiors work. I am able to assess homes and wardrobes from both an interiors and fashion viewpoint. My skill lies in understanding your style, how you live your life and helping you edit or add to your home or wardrobe accordingly. I am passionate about less consumption and can advise on how to buy less and buy better.
I have experience of working with a wide range of clients and am a particularly intuitive and skilled communicator. I am also sensitive to my clients needs.
Personally, I have refurbished and redesigned 7 homes in London and I have excellent organisational skills in terms of moving, buying, selling and refurbishing property.
